The source data
The report is rarely the problem. The data behind it is.
Product data sits in the ERP or the PIM. Packaging weights sit with the supplier. Sales volumes sit in a third system.
When it is time to report, the puzzle begins.

The first question
Are you covered? The answer may have changed in August.
The definition of a producer has been aligned with the EU since 12 August 2026. The practical question is: who places this packaging on the Swedish market?
The importer
You buy pre-packaged goods from abroad and sell them in Sweden. Then it is often you, not the manufacturer, who places the packaging on the market.
Private label
The product is made by someone else but carries your brand. Responsibility generally follows the brand, not the production.
E-commerce direct to consumer
If you sell across the border directly to Swedish consumers, both the product packaging and the shipping packaging count.
If you are covered you must be registered with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and affiliated with an approved producer responsibility organisation — Näringslivets Producentansvar or TMResponsibility.
The check
Smart suggestions. No guessed kilos.
If a material weight, a packaging level or a required classification is missing, ReportReady says so.
We do not quietly fill in things we cannot substantiate.
The system can help find, match and suggest information — but the reported values are calculated from defined data and rules.
That matters when the figures later have to be explained.
Traceability
Every kilo must be explainable.
A total is not enough. From a reported quantity you must be able to go back to the products, packaging components, volumes and sources that created it.
